October 29, 2002 <br /> <br />(b) A minimum of six parking spaces shall be provided for the business. <br /> <br /> (c) Trash disposal for the facility shall be handled and disposed of in <br />accordance with the trash and refuse plan approved by the City Department of General <br />Services. Any change to the approved plan must be submitted to the Director of <br />General Services or his designee and approved prior to implementation of the change. <br /> <br />(d) No animals shall be permitted to remain on the premises overnight. <br /> <br /> (¢) The applicant and any successor in interest shall comply with all <br />applicable local, state and federal regulations including required inspections, and all <br />required permits and licenses and licenses shall be obtained and maintained in effect. <br /> <br /> (t') All taxes and fees in connection with the subject property and operation <br />shall be paid when due. <br /> <br /> 4. REVOCATION OF PERMIT: Violation of any of the above conditions may <br />serve as grounds for revocation of the use permit by the City Council." <br /> <br />Ayes: Benn, Griffin, Moody, Pitts, Randall <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />- City Manager's Report - <br /> <br />02 - 321 - Adoption of an ordinance to appropriate $385,178 in excess funds received <br />from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for maintenance of streets in the <br />City of Portsmouth in the 2002-2003 fiscal year. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />· Adoption of an ordinance to appropriate $385,178 in excess funds received from the <br />Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for maintenance of streets in the City of <br />Portsmouth. <br /> <br />Purpose and Need: <br /> <br />· In accordance with Section 33.1-41.1 of the Code of Virginia, the City of Portsmouth <br />annually receives a specified amount of funding per-lane mile of City streets for <br />maintenance of the streets. <br /> <br />· The new rate for each year is not calculated until the Fall of each year. The <br />$385,178 represents the increase over the amount anticipated in the 2002-2003 fiscal <br />year. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br /> <br />· Of the additional funds, $100,000 will be utilized for concrete sidewalk and curb <br />repair and the balance will be utilized for the street overlay program. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Pitts, and seconded by Ms. Randall, to adopt the following <br />ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />"ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $385,178 IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR STREET <br />MAINTENANCE." <br /> <br />Ayes: Benn, Griffin, Moody, Pitts, Randall <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />02 - 323 - Adoption of a resolution to approve the issuance of the Series 2002 Bonds <br />by the Economic Development Authority of Henrico County, Virginia for the benefit of <br />Maryview Medical Center. <br /> <br /> <br />
