&C O June 28, 1994 At a Called Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, June 28, 1994, there were present~ Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Vice Mayor Lee E. King, Johnny M. Clemons, John H. Epperson, Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James C. Hawks, Cameron C. Pitts, V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City Attorney. 94-228 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 1994, for the purpose of a joint meeting with the Community Services Board and a Public Work Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an Executive Session. By order of the Mayor." 94-229 - The following item was discussed in the Public Work Session: 1. Joint Meeting with the Co~anunity Services Board The following Board members were present: Mary Norris, Chairman Carl Burden Albert Eure V. Anne Green Robert Jacobs Anthony Nicolo Floyd Reid Roger Smith Arthur Steinberg Dorothy Swain Daniel Tyson Frederick Watson Betty Wright Motion by Mr. King, and seconded by Mr. Epperson, to go into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions by the City Council, as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); (2) Discussion or consideration of a legal matter involving the delivery of medical services, as permitted under Subsection (A) (7) . The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion of Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Hawks pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and
