<br />authorized to make notes in The Bemk of Por~-smouth, The Merchants and Farmers Bank, The First Nation-
<br />ai B~nk of Portsmouth, and the Baz~ of ~idew~ter, to amount of ten theusand ($10,000) dollars, in
<br />order to meet expenses of the' public schools for My and June, 1910, the said amount to be repaid-
<br />from the revenues of the current year.
