It is recommended that the Cz,y joan the Ward in layzng these pipes, at a cost of $500 each. It is further reco~ended that the following amo.~uts, allowed in the "budget" for 19!l, be ap- propriated: $400 for a storage room; ~?00 for pavement of Dinv~ddie street, north end; $885 for pave- men~ of North street, between Dinwiddie and ~?ashington; $2,840 for pavement of Water street, between Glasgow and North: $59 for pavement~on Effinghmm, east side, near High: $5-40 for pavement of Ran- dolph street, between Second and Third; $800 for pavement of ~est Park View streets; $780 for pave- ment of'High street, south side, between Effingham and Chestnut; $675 to pave Third street, between_ Fayette e~d Hen~j. Board of Aldermen.- Gentlemen.- ~ou~ Fire Committee respectfully reports herein con- cerning the following matters referred to the Joint Fire. It is further recommended that the $900, provided in the "budget~ for 1911 for the purchase of horses for the Fire Department, be now appropriated for that purpose; and that the Committee be au- thorized to advertise for bids to sell the inefficient horses in the Department, reserving the right to reject any or all bids for same. It is also recommended that the $375, provided in the "budEe~" for purchase of rubber coata and boots for the Department, be now appropriated, and that the Committee be allowed to advertise for
