Progress. <br /> <br /> A request of the Treasurer ~for .authority to renew notes amounting to $46,000.00, due December <br />19; and $~0~000.00, due December E0, 1911~ <br /> It is recommended that the request of the Treasurer be granted, and that the following <br />solution be adopted therefor: <br /> "Resolved, that the~'Treasurer be, and he ia hereby, authorized to re- <br />new notes in The Bank of Portsmouth, The Merchants' & Farmers' Bank, the Bank of Tidewater, and The <br />First National Bank of Portsmouth, to amount of Forty-six Thousand Dollars ($46,O00.0D),.~e Deoem- <br />be~ 19, 1911; and to amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00), due December BO, 1911; said a- <br />mounts to be r~epaid fromthe revenues of the City for the current year." <br /> <br />A request of the Auditor to cancel warrants amounting to $16.~i. <br /> It is recommended that the request of the Auditor be granted. <br /> <br />An appropriation of $1,896.00 for an auto-patrol wagon.
