<br /> It is recommended that this matter be referred to the Sewerage Com~nittee to znvvstzgate

<br /> Mr. Whittaker, Manager of the Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company, appeared before
<br />the Co~nittee and asked that a more satisfactory way of payin~ teleohone bills be arranged. -
<br /> He presented five bills, amounting to $204.00, c~ering ~E4.00~due before January let and $1SO.
<br />for the year 1912, and suggested that the $B4.00 be paid.now, and the $1SO.O0 for 1912 be paid in
<br />advance, agreeing that if said bills were paid in advance the City would be allowed a discount of
<br />6% on same.
<br /> It is recommended that the proposition of Mr. Whittaker be adopted.

<br /> It is further recommended
<br />as City veterinarian from January l,
<br />
<br />that Dr. Wm. G. Black be paid $25.00 per month for his services
<br />191~, and tha~ he be placed on the pay roll of the City.

<br />the cables for lighting the U. S. Lighthouse Depot Grounds.
<br /> It is recommended that the request be granted, ~he pavement taken up to be replaced on
<br />street at expense of the U. S. Lighthouse Department, and the work to be done under supervision of
<br />the City Engineer.
