<br /> In regard tQ the establishment of office of Police Justice, Mr. Davis said that this matter
<br />had been referred t~,the 0rdin~ce Committee~ where it prop~rlybelongs, in o~der ~o prepare mu or-
<br />dinance creating s~id office; that a certain member of the Committee-was of the opinion that it had
<br />been instructed zo brinE in an ordinance creating the.office, 'out that a majority of the Committee
<br />took a different view of the matter, and so had reported to the Council for fttrther advice; and that,
<br />pending the action of the Council to the Ordinance Committee, someone in the Common branch had had
<br />zhe mat~r referz~d~o the Finance:.Committee. He, therefore, moved that the matter be =edommiited
<br />to the 0rdinmuce Committee for further consideration.
<br /> Er. Eontague moved to amend that itbe sent to the Ordinance Cor~nittee with instructions to
