Denby to grad? st=sets in the Seventh Ward, at a cost of <br />$9,17~.00~ and ~o Lo~ieLawson for concret~ curbmng, concrete supports for gulter~plat~s~ put- <br />ting st=ecS ~ames in cement, conc=ete.walk~, pipe li~e, catch basins, andconcrete cqtvert, at <br />a cost of <br /> <br />On motion, the resolution was adopted by the foliow~ng vote: <br /> Ayes--Corbitt~ gall, <br /> Parrish, Henley, Brooks, Moore, Baker, Johnson, Leigh, Cross, Withy, Tyler, <br /> Hawks; Hutch~ns~ Beisel, Cooke, 1~ <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />dinance, which he wished adopted for suppressing gambling. <br /> The ordinanc~ was read by the Clerk, and was then referred <br /> On motion, ~djourned. <br /> <br /> TheRev. R. ~. Naxey being presen~ in t~e interest~of an ordinance for suppressing.gambling <br />the Oity, the rules were suspended to hear from him. <br /> He made a short address on the subject of gambling in the City, and then presente~ an o~- <br /> <br />to the Joint Ordinance Commit~e~. <br /> <br /> <br />
