<br /> Advisability of issuing $600,000.00 of bonds for establishing a water plant, &c., for the
<br />City.
<br /> It is recommended that thirty-year bonds of the City of Portsmouth, bearing interest_
<br />at five per-cent per annum, and not exceeding in amount Six Hundred Thousand ($600,000.00) Dol
<br />late, be authorized; said bonds to be sold in ~uch amounts and a% ~uch times as the Portsmouth
<br />Water Commission mayrequest, and the proceeds arising from the sale of such bonds to be applied
<br />to the construction of a municipal water plant.
