<br /> "You'will please call a special meeting of the COmmon Council for Friday,

<br /> "First. The ~ndget for 1915, as amended by the Board.of Aldermen.
<br />
<br /> ,Second. To revise the vote on the ordinance pas~ed for the borrowing of $~00,000. to
<br />~ake up,that amount of notes in the ~ity banks, 'as advzsed by the lemders of the SE00,000.00,
<br />Mayer & Co., of Gincinnati~ that a ~/$ vote of each body is required to Pass this ordinance
<br />legally. Therefore, a vote of 15 members from the Common Council is necessary.

<br />about February 1st, 1915.

<br />the Finance Committee to arrange for .taking care of City coupons due

<br />Whereupon, the Budget for 1915, as adopted by the Common Council January 12th~ was
<br />a~o~ed) with the following amendments thereto by the Board of Aldermen January ~t~. 1, Not
<br />to increase the ~alary of the City Clerk; 2, Not to increase the salary of the Physmcian to the
<br />Poor; B, Not to mncroase the salary of the Commonwealth Attorney; and 4, Not to allow the City
<br />Collector a stenographer.
<br /> And by the following vote:

<br /> On motiom, consideratiOn'of this section was passed by temporarily.

<br /> Third. To instract the Finance Committee to arrange for t~king care of City coupons due
<br />about February let, i915. (Present Mr. Houghton).

<br /> Mr. Hanvey moved that the Committee be so instructed. The motion was adopted by the
<br />~ollowing vote:
<br /> Ayes--Herbert, Branch, White, Burgess, Corbitt, Hanvey, Whitehuret,
<br /> Flemming, Laylor~ Montages, Reynolds, Wright (Earl H.) Morgan,
<br /> Wright (Grover C.)~ Baldwin, Houghton, Bee, 17.

<br /> On motion, the second matter named in the "call" was now taken up. (Present Mr. Hutchins).
<br />
<br /> Wh~.reupon, Mr. Hanvey moved to reconsider the former vote on the ordinance for the borrow-
<br />i~g of $~O0, O00.O0.to take up that amount of notes held by the City banks.
<br /> The motion was adopted.
<br /> Mr. Burgess then moved that said ordinance be adopted, and it was adopted by. the following
<br />vote~

<br />By common eensent, Mr. Hanvey moved that, in consideration of the fact that the.month of
<br />J.anuary is nearly out and February about to begin, each City Department be permitted ~o spend
<br />1~8 of its yearly appropriation. The motion was adopted.
