A reques~ of the Sixth Ward Board that the Sixth Ward be c~edited with $488.50 <br />and $~.50, now credited to the City Proper. . <br /> ~e report,.as previously reported, that ~he Commissmoner of Revenue is positive~in his <br />statement that the Szxth Ward has been properly credited with all funds that belonged to it a~ <br />the time when its claim was m~de. <br /> <br /> $750. to run a pipe across Harrison street to empty on the east side of Washington. <br /> We report that this matter has been referred by the Board of Aldermen to the Street <br />Commit tee. <br /> <br /> An extra appropriation of $148.68 for work on public buildings. <br /> Ne do not recommend at this time any~appropriation f?.painting the Court House; bu~ <br /> to the Public suffzczent to do the other work deszred <br />the <br /> funds <br /> available <br /> Property <br /> Department <br /> are <br />by the Committee. <br /> <br /> To make available $90,000. to purchase sites on which to ~rect suitable buildings for a <br />high school and for a colored school. <br /> We report that we will endeavor to hold a conference with the ssveral City bank Presi- <br />dents to see if the funds can not be borrowed from the banks for the purchase of said sites. <br /> <br /> An appropriation of $85.00 to re-imburse J. E. Travers for injuries received by him at the <br />fire in Olympic Theatre May ~Pmd, 191S. <br /> It is recommended that an appropriation to said amount be allowed Mr. Travers, out of <br />Contingent fund. <br /> <br />Reports of the Auditor, ~reasurer, and Sixth and Seventh ~a~.d Boards forM arch, 1915. <br /> We report that said'~reports have been examined and it ms recommended that they be filed <br /> <br /> A comm~&uz~atzon from H. Lawless, concerning <br />charges against her for delinquent City taxes, u~ Progress as to same. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br /> A petition of the Fire Board for the usual appropriation for music for the annual parade of <br />Fire Department. <br /> It is recommended that an appropriation of $75. be allowed for the purpose named. <br /> <br /> A request of the City Treasurer to borrow $10,000. for School Purposes for ~ay, 1915. <br /> It is recommended that $10,000. be transferred from General Accou~.t to meet School <br />penses for May, 1915. <br /> <br />A bill of J.
