<br /> At t~ point, Mr. Langhorne said he understood that .the Clerk had the resignation of W. E.
<br />Flourncy as a member of this body from the First Wardjand he mov.ed that the rules be suspended
<br />to elect his successor.
<br /> -The rules were suspended. Then ~he resignation of Mr. Flournoy was read and was-accepted
<br />with regret.
<br /> ~hereupon, Mr. Langhorne nominated M~. J. Bilisoly Hudgins to fill the vacancy and there
<br />being no other nominations, he was elected and~by the following vote:
