<br /> Nr. Herbert presented anL-application of the Commonwealth Attorney for an increase of pay

<br /> Mr. Morgan moved to refer to Cemetery Committee the advisability of purchasing the "Guthrie
<br />property" adjoining the Oak Grove Cemetery and to report at next meeting of the Council; to Light
<br />Committee, the matter of placing a light on the West Park View Bridge; and to Street Committee,
<br />the matter of opening up Cooke street, from Columbia to South.

<br /> On motion of Mr. Reynolds, the Clerk was instructed to call the attention of the Mayor to
