Markham and Herbert urged the appropriation. Several members expressed themselves <br />in favor of the appropriation but did not think the matter had been presented in proper shape. <br /> Finally, the motion was lost. <br /> Mr. Markham obtained permission to changs his vote from Aye to Nay, with majority. <br /> <br />He~:then moved to adjourn.. F. Benson, engineer, to amount of $50.00, for preparing plans to build a <br />conduit across the south end of Dinwiddie street. <br /> It is recommended that the bill be paid, out of appropriation to "Street Improvement." <br /> <br /> Reports of Officers for the month of October, 1915. <br /> We report that we have examined said reports and it is recommended that they be filed. <br /> <br /> A report of the Auditor of the following bills ~eld up by him, because of .lack of appro- <br />priation for same: Fire, $118.00; Police, $18.16; Almshouse, $~5.00; Dinwiddie St. Drain, $60.0Q <br /> It is recommended that said amounts Be provided for out of the several Departments <br />named, by special appropriations. <br /> <br /> A suggestion of the Auditor that the City Collector be refunded $10.00, said amot~ut having <br />been entered twice as a license on the Collector's books. <br /> It is recommended that said amount be refunded the City Colleotor~ out of "Contingent" <br /> <br /> <br />
