<br /> 3. That Crawford street be paved two blocks from High to London, with a ZO ft. driveway
<br />on each side of the S. A. L. tracks.

<br />That Lincoln street be paved one block from Sixth to Seventh.

<br />5. That Hamioton Place be paved one block from Dinwiddie to Washington.

<br />S. That Court Street Causeway be paved from Clifford to Wythe.

<br />?. That Armstrong street be paved one block from Bay to Villa.

<br />That Cooke street be paved four blocks from Ann Zo Glasgow.

<br /> 9. And that Effingham street be paved two blocks from Ctunty to South, with a 18 ft. drive-
<br />way on each side and parked center.

<br /> These streets to be paved ~ith a smooth pavement, such as asphalt, bithu!ithic, or some-
<br />thing similar; and that they be paved in the order named above, as far as the money will permit.

<br /> It is further recommended that the Committee be authorized to advertise for bids to
<br />do said paving. ~

<br /> It is further recommended that the property owners on Washington, Queen, Crawfor~,
<br />Lincoln, Hampt*nPlace, ~ud Court Street 9auseway be notmfied that it is necessary to put ~n
<br />lead pipe connections between now and April let of next year,, on which date we expect to szart
<br />the work of paving;~the residents of ~he other streets in-the "Program"t~o be notified later,
<br />giving them time in which to make their connections.
<br />
<br /> And it is further recommended that if. the bids for the pavement per yard are low enough
<br />to permit it, Crawford street be paved from London to North.

<br /> A petition of the School Board for permission to erect two temporary structures for school
<br />houses on the Old Jail Lot, because of the large -anticipated increase in the High School enroll-
<br />ment on February let.
<br /> No recommendation.
<br />
<br />Advisability of selling the playground.
<br /> We report that we do not deem it mdvisable to sell the playground.
<br />
<br />Advisability of building an annex to the High School on King street.
<br /> It is recommended that this matter be referred to the Finance Committee and the School
<br />
<br />Board.
