NoVember 14, <br /> <br /> ~ November 14, 1994 <br />At a Called Meeting of ghe City CoUncil held on Monday, <br /> 1994, there were present: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Vice Mayor Johnny M, Clemens, <br />Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James C. Hawks, Ja~es T. Martin, <br />Cameron C. Pitts, P. Ward Robinett, Jr., V. Wayne Often, <br />Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City Attorney. <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />94-454 - The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be <br />held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 <br />Crawford Street, at 6:30 p.m., Monday, November 14, 1994, for <br />the purpose of a Public Work Session. <br /> <br /> In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an <br />Executive Session. <br /> <br />By order of the MaYor." <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Griffin, <br />into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section <br />2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: <br /> <br />to go <br /> <br /> (1) Discussion or consideration of appointments to Boards <br />and Commissions by the City Council, as permitted under <br />SubSection (A) (1); <br /> <br /> (2) Consideration of the use or the disposition of <br />publicly held real property in the PortCentre portion of the <br />City, and the acquisition or use of real property for public <br />purpose in the central portion of the City, as permitted under <br />Subsection (A) (3). <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Clemens, and seconded by Mr. Martin, <br />pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia <br />certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge <br />during the immediately preceding Executive Session of'the City <br />Council: <br /> <br /> (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from <br />open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of <br />Information Act, and <br /> <br /> (2) Only such public business matters as were identified <br />in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were <br />heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />' gloria O.
