Parrish, 6. <br /> <br />The minutes of the regularf meeting November 27th were resxl and were approved. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF DEPARTMenTS% <br /> Law-- <br /> The Department of Law submitted no written report, <br />verbs~l report therefor: <br /> <br />but submitted the <br /> <br />following <br /> <br />Referred November 27th. <br /> <br /> A petition of the Pastor and members of the South St, Baptist Church to have removed all <br />screens and obstructions from windows and passageways of places in the City now used for sale <br />of soft drinks. <br /> It is recommended that the following~ordinance be adopted therefor: <br /> Ah 02die, ce to <br />Prohibit the Obstruction of the'View of the Interior of Any Saloon or Gther Place Where Soft <br />Drinks are Sold. <br /> <br /> To change the Plumbing Ordinances so as to increase the salary of the Plumbing inspector <br />to $125. per month. <br /> It is recommended that the following ordinance be adopted therefor: <br /> An Ordinance to <br />Increase the Pay of the Inspector of Plumbing. <br /> <br /> It is further recommended that the followi~ ordinance be adopted: <br /> An 0rdina~os to <br />~mend ~nd Re-ordain Section 422 of the Municipal Code in Reference to the R~nml~y f6r its Vio- <br />lation. <br /> We desire also to present the following opinion from the City Attorney in reference <br />to the petition of eeztain property holders on Washington street asking that the Council take <br />steps to prohibit ~Uz. H. B. Wilkins rebuilding his stables on the site of their former loca- <br />tion: <br /> <br />"Hon.
