Panfish, 6. <br /> <br />The minutes of the regular meeting November 27th were read a~d were approved. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF DEPARTMENTS. <br /> Law-- <br /> The Department of Law submitted no w~itten report~ <br />verbal report therefor: <br /> <br />but submitted the following <br /> <br />Referred November 2~th. <br /> <br /> A petition of the Pastor and members of the South St. Baptist Church to have removed all <br />screens and obstructions from windows and passageways of places in the City now used for sale <br />of soft drinks. <br /> It is recommended that the following ordir~nce be adopted therefor: <br /> A~ O~d~h~ce to <br />Prohibit the Obstruction of the'View of the Interior of Any S~,~loon or 9ther Place Where Soft <br />Drinks are Sold. <br /> <br /> To change the Plumbing Ordinances so as to increase the salary of the Plumbing Inspector <br />to $125. per month. <br /> It is recommended that the following ord~r~ance be ~iopted therefor: <br /> An O~din~uce to <br />increase the Pay of the Inspecto~ of Plumbing, <br /> <br /> It is further recommended that the following ordinance be adopted: <br /> An 0rdin~e to <br />Amend and Re-ordain Section ~22 of the Municipal Code in Reference to the Penal~y fSr its Vic- <br />. lation. <br />We desire also to present the following opinion from the City Attorney in reference <br />to the petition of certain property holders on Washington street asking that the Council take <br />steps to prohibit ~.
