<br /> A resolution was read from the Norfolk City Council with regard .to a complaint against the
<br />Board of Quare~utine Commissioners by Dr. T. Edwin Baird.
<br /> Whereupon, Er. Morgan called attention to the fact that Portsmouth h~d not been fully
<br />represented at m recent meeting to hear charges against said Co~nissioners of delinquency in
<br />duty, one of the charges being thmt the Commissioners failed to meet ms mmny times a year as
<br />required by law to .do. Er. morgan stated also that Portsmouth should have_been represented
<br />by ~ committee of' three mud that the meeting had been ~djourned on this account.
<br /> Then Er. Dashiell moved that a special committee, consisting of the Mayor, Dr. Parrish
<br />and Er. Morgan, be appointed t0 act from this body with the general commlttee from Norfolk County
<br />and the City of Norfolk in ~his matter. The motion was s~dopted~
