Ps~rrish, 6. <br /> <br />On motion, the reading of the minutes of the previous meetings w~s deferred. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF DEPARTEENTS <br /> Law-- <br /> The Department of Law submitted no written report, but submitted the folIowing <br />verbal report[therefor: <br /> <br /> . Referred December 26th. <br /> A communication from the ~ivil & Police Justice requesting the passage of a~ ordinance <br />regulating the use Qf the east end of High street by automobiles. <br /> Progress as to same. <br /> <br /> To draft an ordinance regulatinE the number of cows to be permitted within ~he City limits. <br /> Pro,tess. <br /> Referred December igth. <br /> <br /> To dra~ an ordin~nce-to c.o?er the salary appropriated for the City ~anager. <br /> It is recommended that the following ordinance be adopted therefor: <br /> An Ordinance Fixing the Q~alifications, Term of Office, Duties, and ~ompens~tion of <br />the City Manage~. <br /> Jno.
