Slater, <br /> "City Clerk, City. <br /> "Dear Sir:-- <br /> "You will please call m special meeting o~ the City Council for this evening, <br />Eond~y, Februmry l~th, mt 7:30 P. 'E., to consider bids for punch, se cT $150,000.00 of School <br />Bonds. <br /> "Very truly~ <br /> <br />"J. T. H~nvey,~Presidento" <br /> <br /> The "call~ having been read, the Chairman of the Department of Finance stated that they <br />~ received bids, but none of them were acceptable, and woml~ recDmmend that ~a~y be rejected <br />aud thmt the Dep~rtment be authorized to negotiate for: bids for th% $150,000.00 0'f bonds private- <br />ly. <br /> On mo$ion, the reco=mendation of the Committee was adopted, ~ud by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes--Bunting, D~shieil, P~uvey, Herbert, Norris, Norg~u, 6. <br /> <br /> Then on motion of Er. ~orrms, tn~ bids having been re~eeted, the certified cheeks given <br />with sa~e, were ~rdered to be =etu=ned, a~d th~ D~pmrtment of Finance was muthorized to ~ccept <br />bids for the bon~s until March 2~d, 12 o'clock noon, <br /> <br /> The propoeition to excludeweod yards from certain sections of the Ci£y waz discussed <br />informally, but it WaS ~eei~ed to meet Tuesday ~t 5 o'clock P.
