<br /> A special meeting of the City Council, called by the President, was held on the above date,
<br />with the following members present:

<br /> Messrs--T; A. Bunting, M. P. Claud, Earl H. Wright,
<br /> J. T. Hanvey, C. H. Herbert, Carroll D. Deans,
<br /> W. H. Culpepper, 7.
<br /> Also the City M~r~ger.

<br /> The President stated that he had called t~e b~dy together in order to have a meeting with
<br />the newly elected Councilmen and to discuss a're-a~ahgement of the eeveral Departmente.
<br /> Whereupon, the mmtter of re-arranging the'severa~ ~ep~a~tm~nSs~ wa~discussed, but no
<br />satisfactory conclusion was reached therefor.
<br />
<br /> The City Mauager stated that the money appropriated, $200.00, to send him as a delegate
<br />to the City.Managers' Association in Detroit, Mich., was more than enough for the purpose aud
<br />he thought a member of theCouncil might be send with him.
<br /> The Ch~i r csalted on the eeveral members to know ~ho could go with the City Na~ager, but
<br />mll deblined to go~ except Mr. Herbert.
<br /> Whereupon, on motion, Mr. He~bert w~m delegated to accompany the City M~nager.

<br />of absence of the City Ms~u~ger, who was attending the'City N~nagers' Association at Detroit,
<br />Mich., the meeting stgod~,djourned, by agreement, until Tuesday, November 27th.-

<br /> Cooke street foot bridge~is very much in need of attention and it would require $100.

<br /> Whereupon, Nr. Herbert moved that-S100, be appropriated for the purpose.
<br /> The motion was adopted.
