Morris be refunded $67.50, paid i~error on assessment of $25,000~ for persoz~l property_, ~whereas the assessment should have been $2,500.00; that J, F. Ealker be ~elteved ~f~ompay~aent of $10.00-on account of erron?ous assessment on automobile; and that Emma ~. Miller be refunded $1.80 paid in error for soml tax for t~.e year 1918 on 51~ Edwards street. Bill of Chas. F. Harper as~Arbitrator~for the City in the. pu~c~se of the water-plant to amount of ;V',~O0.00; and W. L. Davis to amount of $300.00 for services in co~aection with arbi- tration proceedings. A notice m~om the Superintendent o~ Public Schools that ~here will be needed November 30, 1918, $3,000.00 additional to pay salaries and $2,000. to pay bills, On motion, adjoined. Then the Finance Department recommended tb~t bids for the ~aleo of $600,000.00 of ~ater Bomds be~ ~recei~ed 't~util 7 P. ~., Saturday; .Nov~ember 23rd, and that Co~u~ci! 'be called at ~:30 P.
