REPORTS OF DEPARTed-ETS Law-- Reco~mended adoption of the fo~!lowing ordinances: An OrdinanceRequ~ring' a Fee for ~ailding Permits in the City of Portsmouth. An Ordinance to ~end Sectio~ 520 of'tHe City C6de, pa~graphs one and Two, which Relate to the Number of Spaces and the Obarges~ per ~ont F0o~ of Space to Rea~ as follows: A~ Ordirmnce to Amend the Franchise 0f~tlie virgl~ia~Railw~and~ Power COmpany and to Permit said Company to Operate in the City of Portsmouth Ca~s_ UPOn Which 0nly on? ' Finally, 'on motion, the ordinance was ~eferred tb the Department Of Law and the City Clerk was instructed to furnish each member of the Cc~ncil with a copy of same.
