<br /> to complete zm~rovements to its quarters. The motion was adopted.

<br /> of the City on ~f~rch 4th in regard to vice in the city.

<br />Bon. d,s' tO pay for same; and he presented a bid from J. C. Mayer & Colorer the p~chase of the
<br />said bondsman; par and accrued interest, the City to allow said firm ~1300. for legal and other
<br />expenses in handling the bongs. He stated that the Finance Committee recommends that the said
<br />bonds be sold to J. C. Mayer & Co., as per their bid.

<br /> 14r. Wright called attention to bad condition of the City Jail s_nd instructed the ~anager
<br />to present best of repairs to same at the next meeting of the body.
<br /> Then the ..matter was referred to the Public Property Department and City .~ianager.

<br /> The President stated that at the request of the Department of Labor, he atte~ided a meeting
<br />of the Governors and ~-ors of the various Cities in the U. S. held inWashington' on March
<br />3-4-5th in relation to the general labor conditions of the country, the purpose of the meeting
<br />being to get the views of the Goverznors and Mayors c~ncerning same.
<br />
<br /> ~t~. Wright called attention to traffic condition at the corner of FoLtrth and Lincoln
<br />streets, and the Clerk was instructed to call the attention of the City Manager to same.
