Hodges~ A petition of The State Bank of Portsmouth for one-fifth of the business of the City o£ Portsmouth. Progress. A bill of F~ank L. Crocker to amount of $1500.00, for services rendered the City. Wrmoht stated that the condition of the Cz~ Jail ~ extremely bad and presented an es- timate of ~950. for the improvement of ssm~e.
