REPORTS OF DEPART~NTS Law-- Recommended adoption of the following ordinance: An Ordinance to Prot~ibit the Erec~ tion or Maintenance of Commercial Garages in the Neighborhood of Chtwches, Hospitals, or ~blio Schools of the City. On motion~ under the rules, the ordinance was ordered to lie on th~ table until the next meeting of the body. Public Service ~- Referred May 13th. RecommendatiOn of the .CiSy Manager that a special appropriation Of $40~.V8 be~ade to pay bill ~f Dr~ ~Oodd~or~services at the City Stables, and a special aporopriatmon Of $3.30 to pay bill of W. & L~ ~-~r~ey for the Seale~ of ~eights& Measures~. ~ ~ ~ ~ It-is recommended that said special appropriations be allowed for the purposes stated. Recom~endatien that a special appropriatiO~ of $300. be allowed to pay bill of W. L. Bennett for work done on sewer near Webster Ave. and ~ckie street. ~ ~It is recommended that a special appropriation of $~00. be allowed to pay said bill. A request of a~$orneys for the Va.
