<br /> A communication from members of the Methodist Preachers' Meeting of the City expressing

<br />ment of Law.

<br /> A no~z~ee was read f~om the Secret&wy of'the Commonwealth calling attention to an Act of
<br />the General ~ssembly, approved N~rch 8, 1918, which requi~es the Council of each City to pro-
<br />vide copies of the Code for certain City Officers; and said communication was referred to the
<br />Public Property Department.

<br />be allowed for street paving, and the reco~endation was adopted by the following vote:.

<br /> On motion, the necessary appropriation was referred to the Finance Department.

<br /> On motion of Mr. Culpepper, the advisability of opening Fourth avenue, from Glasgow to High
<br />street, was referred to the Departraent of Public Service and City Manager.
<br />
<br /> On motion, the City Clerk & Auditor was instructed to attend the meeti~ of the Comptrollers
<br />& Accounting Officers in Baltimore June 18-!9-20th.
