0i1:8 <br /> <br />February 27, 1995 <br /> <br /> At a Called Meeting of the City COUncil held on Monday, <br />February 27, 1995, there were present: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Vice Mayor Johnny M. Clemons, <br />Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James C. Hawks, James T. Martin, <br />Cameron C. Pitts, *P. Ward Robinett, Jr., V. Wayne Orton, City <br />Manager, George M. Willson, Deputy City Attorney. <br /> <br />95-81 - The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be <br />held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 <br />Crawford Street, at 5:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, 1995, for <br />the purpose of a Public Work Session. <br /> <br /> In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an <br />Executive Session. <br /> <br />By order of the May~r." <br /> <br /> 95-83 The following items were discussed in the Public <br />Work Session: <br /> <br />1. Goals and Objectives Update <br /> <br />2. C.I.P. Follow-up <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Griffin, <br />into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section <br />2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: <br /> <br />to go <br /> <br /> (1) Discussion or consideration of a personnel matter <br />involving the position of City Attorney, as permitted under <br />Subsection (A) (1). <br /> <br /> (2) Discussion or consideration of a personnel matter <br />involving the Department of Museums, as permitted under <br />Subsection (A) (1). <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Martin, and seconded by Mr. Griffin, <br />pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia <br />certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge <br />during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City <br />Council: <br /> <br /> (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from <br />open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of <br />Information Act, and <br /> <br /> (2) Only such public business matters as were identified <br />in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were <br />heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Sheila Powell Pittman, <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br />CMC/AAE <br /> <br />*Councilman P.
