<br /> In accordance with condition Tdf sale of a franchise for operation of a passenger bus
<br />l~ne between the City of Portsmouth and the City of ~uffolk, the following bids were received

<br /> "We, the undersigned, hereby bad One Thousand and Eleven Dollars Md thirteen cents for
<br />~e proposed franchisefor a~usline from Portsmouth to ~uffolk; said ~moun~ to ~s payable
<br />as follows: one-fifth in cash & one fifth on Aug. 1, 1922, Aug. 1, 1923, Aug. 1, 192~, and
<br />Aug. 1, 192~. Deferred pa~Fmente to bea~ interest'at ~he rate of six per centum per annum.
