<br /> shall h~ve powder to establish, enlarge or acquire electric light plants, heat and power plants,
<br /> street railway, trolley-bus and tr~usportation systems, and gas works within or without, or
<br /> partly within s.nd ps~rt~ without the limits of said City,~nd shall have power to acquire by
<br /> purchase, cond~mnati~n~ lease,or otherwise, l~nd and other ~property for the purpose of estab-
<br /> lishing saidp~ants, systems or works, and sh~ll h~ve the~power to acquire by p~rchase, con-
<br /> demnation, lease, or otherwise, the property, in whole or in,pa~t, whensoever acquired, of
<br /> su~y pri~ate or public servi'ce corporation, operating such plants, systems~or works, or chartered
<br /> for the purpose
<br /> of ag~uiring or operating such plants, systems or works, including it~ land,
<br /> plmmts, Works, buildings, machinery, pipes, mains, wires, tracks, and all appurten~uces thereto,
