<br /> When any ~erson, firm or corporation shall by uss of signs, circulars, or newspapers, ad-
<br /> vertise any business in this City, it shall be considered prima facie evidence of their liabil-
<br /> ity under this ordinance, and said person, firm or corporation shall be required to take out
<br /> a license for such business.

<br /> Each case in which a license is not designated in this tax ordinance a specific license
<br />t~x of $26.O0 is hereby imposed.
<br />
<br /> Each person, firm or corporation doing a business at more than one place, stall or stand
<br />shall be required to ~ake out a separate license for each of such places, stalls, or stands.
<br /> ~f any person, firm or corporation shall commence or engage in any business, trade, call-
<br />ing or profession or employment on which a tax is imposed by this ordinance, without first
<br />paying the tax imposed, he Or they shall, in mddition ~o paying the license tax required by
<br />this ordinance, be fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $100.O0 ~ud each d~y's faiiu~e mo
<br />obtain the license after proper notice thereof shmll constitute a separate of£ense.

<br /> Each person, firm or corporation required to pay a license tax under the provisions of
<br />this ordinance shall post and keep posted in a conspicuous place the receipt for said payment,
<br />and any one violating this provision shall be subject ~o a fine not less th~n $2.00 and not
<br />more th~n $10.00 for each and every d~y or part of a day thaz said receipt is not kept posted.

<br /> it is made the duty of the License Inspector ~nd Bhlioe Deps~vtment to bring before ~he
<br />~olice'Justice of the City any violations off this ordinance which-may come under their notice.
<br /> Licenses issued to persons, firms or corporations jus~ starting into business ~fte~ July
<br />let may be pro-rated~ excep~ where in this ordinance it is stated that licenses are not to
<br />be pro-rated and e~cept licenses to non-resident persons, firms or corporations.
<br /> Each non-resident~erson, firm or oorpcratio~ who may use our streets in pursusmce of thei~
<br />business at leasz once a week shall pay the tax required by this ordinance.

<br />No fee shall be charged for the issuing o£ licenses a~.d no cha~ge shall be m~de for ~ags.
<br />All ordinances or pa~vts~of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
