<br /> RESOLVED, That th~ ~City Manager is ~ereby authorized to ~have p~epa~ed a small pamphlet,
<br />in folder style, setting forth the facts as to the advantages of POrtsmouth and vicinity for
<br />the establishment of manufacturing plantS, etc., and the said pamphlet to contain such d~ta
<br />as the mileage of ~he available water-f:~nt the names of the railroad and steamsEip lines Shat
<br />enter this port, the'advantages for coal, the Belt Lin~ facilities, the facilities for~export
<br />tra~le, favorable labor conditions, highways that lead here, ~ruoklng, lumber, smd other in-
<br />dustries hereabouts, and all other d~ta usually embra?ed in such pamphlets, which will be of
<br />concern t6 strangers and prospective investors; provided the. cost of such fotder'or pamphlet

<br />unofficial envelope, mud that the entry be made in the pamphlet that any further information
<br />about Portsmouth will be furnished, upon request, by the C~ty Manager. Also a small out (map)
