1.2,t Mayg, 1995 At a Called Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, May 9, 1995, there were present= Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Vice Mayor Johnny M. Clemons, Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., *James C. Hawks, *James T. Martin, Cameron C. Pitts, V. Wayne 0rton, City Manager, George M. Willson, Acting City Attorney. 95-224 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 1995, for the purpose of a Public Work Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an Executive Session. By order of the Mayor." 95-225 The following items were discussed in the Public Work Session: 1. Classification and Pay Plan 2. Children's Museum of Virginia 3. Community Corrections Act 4. TRT Trolley/Shuttle Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Martin, to go into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions by the City Council, as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); (2) Discussion or consideration of the use of publicly held real property in the PortCentre section of the City, and discussion or consideration of the disposition of publicly held real property in the downtown section of the City, as permitted under Subsection (A) (3); (3) Discussion of the expansion of an existing business when no previous announcement has been made of the business' interest in expansion, as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); (4) Discussion or consideration of personnel matters involving a fire department applicant and employees of Public Utilities Department, as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); (5) Consultation with legal counsel and briefing by staff pertaining to actual litigation (Adelman, et al., vs City o__f Portsmouth), as permitted under Subsection (A)(7). The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion of Mr. Martin, and seconded by Mr. Hawks, pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council:
