Cotton presented the followinE resolution adopted by the ~onroe League~ <br /> <br /> ~Whereas, the ordinance annexing the 8th and 9th V~ards provides that ~he 6th and ?th ~ards <br />be Sewered ahead of the 8th and 9th and whereas the 6th and ~th Ms~vds are sadly in need of <br />sewerage and are Justly entitled to same at this time, ~ whereas the 0ity Council has taken <br />action to print and sell bonds a~d proceed with the work in the 8th and ~th ~ards, <br /> <br /> Resolved That the City be requested mo comply with the Supreme Court Amendment Section <br />$1 of said ordi~nce and issue ~uffioient sewerage bonds to be~spl~t in ~he 6th and 7tk~ards <br />to give these wards at least a reasonmbls sewerage system as provided ~n the ordinance as <br />amended by the Supreme Court." <br /> <br />On motion, the resolutions were referred to the City Nan~ger. <br /> <br />On motion, mdjourned. <br /> <br />CiTY CLE~.K ^~D A~giT{)~, <br /> <br />June 1~, 1923 <br /> <br />R.~A.
