1:4.2 May 30, I995 ; At a Called Meeting of the City CounCll held on Tuesday, May 30, 1995, there were present: Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James C. Hawks, *James T. Martin, Cameron C. Pitts, P. Ward Robinett, Jr., V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, George M. Willson, Acting City Attorney. 95-263 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held in the City Manager's Conference Room, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 1995, for the purpose of an Executive Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an Executive Session. By order of the Mayor." Motion by Mr. Griffin, and seconded by Mr. Robinett, into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: to go (1) Consultation with legal counsel pertaining to a matter of actual litigation concerning the old Churchland High School site, as permitted under Subsection (A) {7); and (2) Discussion of a personnel matter involving a Council appointee, as permitted under Subsection (A) (1). The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion by Mr. Griffin, and seconded by Mr. Martin, pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and (2) Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
