"~ith reference to <br />routes desired by the Mount Hermon Jitney A~oci~tion, i beg to state that I have ~one over <br />the matter carefully and do not believe that there is s~Tficient excess colored traffic in <br />tlte Eount Sermon territory to justify a Tegul~v service of these jitneys at present. They <br />are running irregulmrly as hired cars amd do not seem to be getting any large amount of traffic <br />from tt~e Eount Hermon District. I therefore adhere to my original reco~endation that t~e <br />permits for the High St. line grid the Trn~tem line be not granted? <br /> <br /> 0n motion ~f Nm. ~hite, the privilege of~the floor was granted to John Sherry, who <br />spoke on behalf of the ~ount Hermon ~itney ASsoCiation. <br /> Nr. Smith moved that the recommendation of the Ngn~ger be concurred in. ~r. Brooks moved <br />that the mmtter be lmid ~n the table until the next regular meeting of Council. <br /> ~.
