<br /> or which ~ne Oity will be reimbursed by the company. This w ill insure a minimum interruption
<br />in vehiculs= traffic. The granting of~ ~he permit is recommended.,

<br /> ~he most important public celebration of the year will be held on Armistice Day,
<br />November the ~leventh, 'under the auspices of the Portsmouth Post $3? of the American Legion.
<br />We have the assurance that approximately two thousand troops, sailors and marines will be in
<br />the line cf pa~ade, which will start at 9:30 am. and cover the major por~ythe 0ity.
<br />After the parad~ we will hold a patriotic celebration at theWythe',Street~s~i~sent the City
<br />with'a captured Gemm~m war trophy. This'is only a portion of the~rogram of the Day.
