<br /> It is recommended that a special appropriation of $206.60 be allowed to pay said bill.

<br /> (~nd City Attorney) Petition of Clarence E. Hodges for Marry L. Alexander to be refunded
<br />$108.~, erroneously paid in taxes on proper~y in South Portsmouth, for Teass 1913, 1914, 19t5,
<br />1916 and 191~, same having been purchased from Octavia Oavendy by Mattie L.~Alexander, who w~s
<br />the wife of Hamry L. Alexande=.
<br /> Upon advice of the City Attorney, it is recommended that this petition be not allowed.

<br />The necessity for this appropriation is d~e to the fact that for ten weeks this summer ~ night
<br />crew w~s operated at the Incinerator."
