White, <br /> Also the City Manager. <br /> <br />The minutes of the repulser meeting November 9th were read and were approved. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF O0~2~ITTEES <br /> Fin~nce-- <br /> Referred November 9th <br /> <br /> Request of the City Manager that an additional appropriation of $270,00 be allowed for <br />labor at the Incinerator, the necessity for the appropriation being due to the fact that for <br />ten weeks this summer a night crew was operated at the Incinerator. <br /> It is recommended that a special appropriation of $270.00 be' allowed for same, said <br />~propriation being in p~rt made necessmmy by trouble with the Incinerator. <br /> <br />$a7o. <br /> <br /> aPPr <br /> <br /> Request of the Manager +~hat a special appropriation of $1250.O0 be. allowed for a concrete <br />driveway in front of the Ninth Ward Fire Station and Community H~ll, the purchase of chairs <br />and other incidentals for said building. $1250 <br /> It is recommended that a special appropriation of $1250.00 be allowed, ou~ of Ninth sp. <br />Ward funds, for same., appr <br /> <br />1926.Reports of the ~ity Treasurer, City 0olieotor, and City Auditor for the month of October, <br /> It is recommended that the reports be received and filed. <br /> <br /> Communication from the Auditor stating that the ~npropriation made in the Budget for gaso- <br />line and oils has been exhausted, and that it will be necessary to have an $1800.O0 appropria- <br />tion for the balance of the fiscal year. $1800 <br /> It is recommended that a special ~opropriation of $1800.00 be allowed for s~Lid purpose, sp. <br /> <br /> Referred October 26th appr <br /> <br /> Offer of Hodges & Eeath to sell the City for $400.00 per acre their farm adjoining the <br />City Park, in the event the City purchases additio~l land for a larger golf course. <br /> It is reoom~mended that land for a larger golf course be not purchased at this time. <br /> <br />Referred October 12th <br /> <br /> Offer of Harry L. Mr. Wmlkins was operating <br />an automobile under the ~nfluence of whiskey and officer Dunn was chasing the machine.
