H. <br />ley, City Manager of Suffolk, relative to the financial condition of the Water Department, <br />recommending that we get the Water Department finances in such shape that we will be able <br />go into the matter of reducing the industrial rates as soon as possible. <br /> Progress as to same. <br /> <br />Br ink- <br />and <br />to <br /> <br /> Recommendation of the Nanager that an appropriation of $13~5.00 be allowed to pay bill of <br /> Isaac Fass, Inc., covering cost of re-inforoing concrete culvert at the extension of Columbia <br />$137~.St., as per agreement entered into by the City with Mr. Fass. ~ <br />sp.~. Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Norfolk County revoking <br />the appointment of the Ferry Oommittee and all m~tters concerning the regulation, management <br />and operation of the Ferries for the County of Norfolk to be primarily and fina±ly handled by <br />the Board of Supervisors as provided by law. <br /> The Rules Committee hereby calls the Oouncil's attention to the fact that the local <br />ferries are being operated by a Committee of the Council, but in conformity with the resolution <br />of the Board of Supervisors a~d in a~oordance with the law pe~taining to the operation of the <br />ferries we hereby advise the a~olition of the 0ity Ferry Oommittee. <br /> <br />L.
