' <br /> On motion of Dr. Dunferd, the petitio~was rexerre~ mo the City Manager and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> A petition was read from A. A. Bangel to be refunded $10.80 paid for two lots charged to <br />Krmmer and A. A. Bangel whic~ they did not owa. <br /> On motion of Mr. White, ~he petition was referred to.the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> A bill was read from Lloyd E. Warren, <br />er by Order of Court. <br /> On motion of Mr. Maupin, a special <br /> <br />attorney, to amount of $25.00, for defending a prison- <br />appropriation of $25.00 w~s allowed to pay the bill. <br /> <br /> A bill was read from R. H. Bagby, attorney, to amount of $25.0O, for defending a prisoner <br />by Order of Court. <br /> On motion of Nr..~aupZn, a special appropriation' of $25.00 was allowed_to pay the bill. <br /> <br /> The following communication was read from J. D. Norris, Sr~ Justice of the Peace for Lee <br />Ward, in reply to communication from the City Council October 2~th with reference to petitio~ <br />from certain~qualified voters of Lee Ward to declare the said office vacant on account of the <br />continued absence from the Ward of Er. Jo~rner, <br />Pastor of Central M. E. Ohurch, who~preesnted petitions from certain residents on Washington <br />street and streets adjacent thereto, for restoration of bus transportation service on Washington <br />street, and from certain citizens living in Park View as~d attending Central M.E.
