<br /> AN ORDINANCE FOR IMPOSING'AND 00LLEOTING TAXES ON REAL ESTATE, TANGIBLE
<br />PERSONAL PROPERTY, AND MACHINERY WITHIN THE LIAITS OF THE O!TY OF POHTSNOUTH, VIEGINIA, FOR THE
<br />PURPOSE OF RAISING i~EVE$~E FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE GOVEtLNMENT AND THE PUBLIO FREE SCHOOLS, AND
<br />TO PAY INTEREST AND SINKING FUND ON THE PUBLIO DEBT,'FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1st, 1928.

<br /> Mr. Stewart moved that the ordinance be amended by'striking out the emergency clause.
<br /> The motion was adopted.
