<br />The meeting was called to order by the Clerk, who presented the oaths of office of Vernon

<br />A. Brooke, J. R. Stewart, E. W. Maupin, Jr., and J.

<br /> Mr, Brooks nominated L. G. White, who was elected.
<br />
<br /> The 0h~irman stated that the eteetiom of a President for the next two years was in order.
<br /> M~. Stewa~ nominated Vernon A. Brooke for President. 'Mr. Mayo no~inated J. Alden Oast.
<br /> M~r. O~St requested that his nomination be withdrawn, and oMr. Mayo withdrew same.
<br /> On motion of Mr. Mayo, th~ nominations were closed, and M~. Brooke was elected, and by the
<br />follOWing vote:
<br /> For Mr. Brooks-- Maupin, Mayo, Oast, Stewart, White,
<br />
<br /> (Mr. Brooks excused from voting)
<br />
<br /> M~. Oast nominated J. R._ Stewart for Vice-President for the term of two years,
<br /> Mr. Mmx~pinmoved that the nominations be closed. The motion was adopted, and l~v. Stewart
<br />was elected, and by the following vote:
<br /> Ayes-- Brooks, Maupin, Mayo, Oast, White, 5.
<br />
<br /> (Mr. Stewart excused from voting)

<br /> Messrs. Brooks and St~wa~t thanked the Oouncilafor the honor conferred upon them and pro-
