5th. "Attached you will find application from the American Oil Oompany for permission
to erect at their plant located at 2500 0ounty Bt., one 20,000 gallon storage tank. They
now have at this location three storage tanks of the s~me capacity. This location has been
previously pass~ o~ by the Oouncil as a suitable place for ail storage and I see no re,son
why permission shouId no~ be granted.

Fire Inspector Shannon and myself have visited the premises. The property of the
Oil Company is immediately adjacent to the Belt Line Railroad tracks and it will not be neces-
sary for them to acquire any further property, as the location of the proposed tank adjoins
that of the other three tanks. I therefore recommend that'~this permissio~ be granted by the
Counci2, the tank to be e~ected under the supervision of the Fire Inspector and in conformity
with ordinance covering ezection ~f oil ~tanks."
