Brinson, <br />City Clerk & Auditor, <br />Portsmouth, Va. <br /> <br />Dear Sir:-- <br /> <br /> You will pleas~ call ~ special meeti~ng.of the City Oouncil, in the 0ounoil ,Chamber, <br />~oRday, December 16th, at 8 q clock p.. m., to q~n~zder matters pertaznlng to the 1930 assess- <br />ment, and any 'other busing'ss that may p~op~rly~m~ before t~e body~ . . <br /> <br /> The ecall" having been read, '~he <br />as he had outlined to the Council in data presented' at the last <br /> <br /> Very t ruly~yours, <br /> <br /> Vernon A. Eaupin moved that the <br /> <br />After considerable discussion of plans <br /> <br />conside- <br /> <br />0ity <br /> <br />Manager and the 0ity Attorney be inst~aoted to draw up a tentative line of procedure for the <br />1930 assessment. <br /> The motion was adopted. <br /> <br />The Oity ~anager recommended that the following ordin~uce be adopted: <br /> <br /> An Ordinance Authorizing the Borrowing of $225,000.00 <br />lection of the Revenue for the Ye~ 1~3O, and Providing for the <br />Therefor. <br /> <br />in Anticipation of the 0ol- <br />Issuance of a Note or Notes <br /> <br /> '~- ~aupin, the-ordinanoe was plmced on first reading. <br />On motion of m~. <br /> <br />On motion, s~djourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
