A petition was read from property owners and residents of the 500 block of Wythe St. that this portion of Wythe St. which exzends from Fourth St. to Dinwiddie St., be treated in a similar manner as the extension of Dinwiddie St. which extends to Fifth St. On motion, the petition was referred to the~ City Manager. A bill was received from J. Shirley Hope, State Game Wamden, to amount of $125.00, for services rendered in-destroying 50 tagless dogs $ $2.50 each. On motion, the Treasurer was authorized to pay said bill out of funds on hand from collection of Dog Taxes. , A petition was read from John Augustus Hegward, Elizabeth Hegws~rd~ and Amanda Comon, that th~ property ~13-~l5 Glasgow St., Portsmouth, which is assessed in the name of John Augustus Hegward, be ~elieved from taxes, as ~aid property has been used for church put-poses by the Holy Tabernacle, Pentecostal 0hutch of Christ. The School Board BUdget for the Year l~31, as adopted by the School Board meeting on 0¢to~ bet 3, 1~30, was presented, and was referred to the 1931 Budget for consideration.
