<br />meeting in the Portsmouth Oily Auditorium On F~idays 'May 29t~, at 8 o'clock P.M., at
<br />~nioh time we have invited all of the rail officials whose oxfices are in Norfolk to be
<br />present with us as ou~ guests. At this time we have received acceptances from Mr. Leigh
<br />R. Powell, and Mr. E. W. Smith, Receivers for the Seaboard, a~d nave tn. ~romise of the
<br />President of the Virginian, sad the President of the No~folk Southern to be present with
<br />us if they are in the Gity,
<br /> We hope to have Mr. W. L. Stanley, Vice President ~of the Seaboard, of
<br />lanta, G~; to make the speech of the evening, there will also be several other short ad-
<br />dresses.
<br /> The occasion of this meeting is to celebrate ?~ving nearly ~eached our goal
<br />of 10,000 m~mbers.~ We wish to show the ~ai! offioia!s wh~t we have accomplished dttring
