<br /> Motion of Mr. Hutchins that the contract-be alloyed and proper officers be
<br />authorized to execute same in duplicate, was adopted and by the following vote:

<br /> Notion of Mr. B=ook~ that $25,000. or as ~uch thereof as is ~ecessa~y, be
<br />appropriated from the Water Fund to build the bridges over Lake Cahoon, and to pay Nansemond
<br />0ounty $Y,500. as agreed upon. Under the rules on motion the said appropriation was laid

<br />that the Board had in regards to their work as a Equalization Board over to ~ir. John 0.
<br />Niemeyer, Gommissioner of Revenue ~or the Oityof Portsmouth, Va. It took the Board One
<br />Hundred and Seventeen days to complete the work.
