<br /> In February, 1930, Bishop A. J. Brennan, of Richmond, Virginia, bought
<br />three oieces of property, in the 0ity of PortsmoUth, to be used for religious purposes. At
<br />the ti~e of the purchase taxes were pro-rated for the year 1930. Taxes for the entire year
<br />193© ~re oarrie~ as del_i~&~ent on the books of the Oit~ 0olleotor. Request is made that
<br />Bishop Brenns~ be allowe~ to pay the taxes accruing przor to the date of purchase in s~ttle-
<br />merit of 1930 taxes.
